Barbara Ann Bailiff Mundy, 84, passed away Friday June 22nd at Wesley Long Hospital following several months of declining health and two weeks critical. She was born April 9, 1934 in Alamance County to the late Homer Bailiff and Mozelle Wilson Bailiff and was married for 44 years to the late James “J.D.” Dallas Mundy who passed away in 2013. Ann attended St. Mark’s Church and after her retirement from H. F. Mitchell Construction Company she was a very active volunteer. She enjoyed going to the beach, shopping and loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughters. Her smile and friendship will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Willard “Chip” Roland King, Jr.; granddaughters, Kelli T. King and Rachael M. King. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Wilson Bailiff and a sister Juanita Kerr. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life 6-8 PM Monday, June 25th at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc and at other times at the home of her son.
