Barbara Allen Trainor, age 74 of Lansing, NC died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Trainor was born November 20, 1943 in Moultrie, GA to the late Hants and Audrey Kent Harrelson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Sue Allen and brother, Ronald Harrelson. Barbara was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Her numerous hobbies included gardening, canning, quilting, cooking and sitting on the front porch feeding and watching the birds. Funeral mass will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church by Father James Stuhrenberg, with rosary to take place at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Trainor Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 PM, Thursday, June 28th at Badger Funeral Home. Mrs. Trainor is survived by, her husband, Dennis Paul Trainor Sr., sons, Dennis Paul Trainor Jr. and Joseph Daniel Trainor both of Lansing, daughters, Belinda Sue Tilley of Millers Creek and Carolyn Elizabeth Trainor of Cape Coral, FL, sister, Annie Lindsey of Arcadia, FL,14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Memorials may be made to the family c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC 28694.
