Obituary for Ardella “Della” Brown- Augusta Ardella “Della” Augusta, 71, of Peoria passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital at 7:07p.m.. Ardella was born January 5, 1947 in Memphis TN. to Rosevelt Carter and Gladys Edwards. She married Roy L. Augusta in 2000. He precedes her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons: Maurice Brown and Maurice Sargent both of Peoria: nine daughters: Gladys Brown, Terry (Lawrence) Brown Alexander, Hattie Williams, Laurie (Matthew) Tapp, Porsha Majors, her triplets; Brittiss, Brandee, Breanna Burks all of Peoria and Ebonyisha Williams of Galesburg one brother: Henry Bobo of Aurora two sisters Earnestine Fields of Peoria and Elizabeth Spring of Chicago, thirty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one son Charles Carter, one daughter Sherry Brown four great-grandchildren two brothers and three sisters. Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Sovereign Grace M.B. Church 11:00a.m. with visitation commencing one hour prior. Pastor Alvin Riley will officiate. Ardella will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery.
