Anne Tianne W Wallace Hormann 2018

Anne W. Hormann June 14, 1931 – May 25, 2018 Anne ‘Tianne’ W. Hormann crossed over on May 25, 2018 after a short illness. Anne was born June 14, 1931 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to C. R. Wallace, BG, U.S.M.C. and Josephine A. Wallace(Miller). Anne attended the University of Arizona graduating with a degree in elementary education in 1953. Anne and Vaughn were married the same year and began what Tianne often described as the exciting adventure of moving with the military. Tianne has been described as being tireless. As they moved, she taught school when she was able, but never stopped serving others. She served the Red Cross in Europe and again in Camp Drum, New York, as a volunteer Girl Scout troop leader at multiple stations, for Episcopal parishes at Ft. Dix, New Jersey and Sierra Vista, Arizona, and as the Director of the ACS in Fort Drum, New York. While continuing her own education in Montana, Tianne even found time to support a variety of the college campus organizations to include sewing costumes for the theater department productions. She had a deep love and passion for teaching children which she did in Kansas, Kentucky, Virginia, and Arizona. The positive and long-lasting impact she had on students’ lives is a testament to her dedication and love for children. Tianne was a source of strength and confidence especially to her daughters. She always carried herself with grace and compassion, always an inspiration to others.
