Ann E. LaPoint Netti, 83, the wife of Raymond Netti, of Auburn, died Sunday, June 10, 2018, in Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Ann was a graduate of Auburn’s East High School, class of 1952. She was employed by Sylvania, the Auburn Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, and later Crosman’s Jewelers in downtown Auburn. Ann loved her family and visiting with people and thoroughly enjoyed her biweekly “club” gatherings with so many of her “club girls.” In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by one son, David Netti and his wife, Jessica, of Auburn; one daughter, Lori Netti, of Liverpool; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Harry and Anna Klase LaPoint, she was predeceased by three brothers, Howard, Harry Jr., and Robert LaPoint, and one sister, Eleanor Johnston. Friends are invited to join the family for a service to be offered at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark St. Road, Auburn. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours for Ann will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in memory of Ann to Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
