Obituary for Angelina Vetrano FISHKILL – Angelina T. Vetrano, 93, a resident of Fishkill since 1993, died on May 31, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She previously lived in Yonkers. Born in Yonkers on June 6, 1924, Angelina was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Frankolino) Polidore. On September 24, 1944 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Yonkers, she married Nicholas A. Vetrano, Sr. who predeceased her in 2004. Angelina was employed by American Diet Aides in Yonkers, which later became US Health Co., until her retirement in 1994. She was a parishioner at St. Columba Church and a member of the Fishkill Seniors. She enjoyed playing Bingo and eating ice cream. Angelina is survived by her children, Nicholas (Harry) Vetrano-Hinkel of Hyde Park, Linda (John) Black of Wappingers Falls, Thomas Vetrano of Wappingers Falls, and Edward (Patti) Vetrano of Lake Arielo, PA; her 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Alfred “Sonny” Polidore of Wappingers Falls; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Angelina was also predeceased by her sisters, Mary D. Polidore and Mildred C. Urezzio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 11:30 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Donations may be made in Angelina’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation or The Gift of Life, Inc. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.
