Alexander Javier “Xander” Torres, 18, of Westminster, Maryland, died Thursday, June 7, 2018. Born July 6, 1999, in Manati, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Armando Benito Torres and Britni Arlene Ingleby Torres of Westminster. He was set to graduate from the Hannah More Campus of the Forbush School at Glyndon. Xander loved being with his family and friends, he enjoyed traveling, he had a passion for playing the guitar. He also enjoyed playing soccer and volleyball and was an avid skateboarder and video game enthusiast. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister Sarah Gabriela Torres of Westminster, Aunt Wanda Torres and Uncles Elvis Torres and Uncle Shan Ingleby and Aunt Ayesha Baca. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 1 to 2:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with US Army Chaplain Peter Stone officiating. Interment will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.
