Obituary for Albert Delaney Wells Albert Delaney Wells, 74, of Lafayette, IN passed away on June 18, 2018. Albert was born February 19, 1944 in Surry County, VA at home to his mother, Lucy Ann Barlow and his father, John Albert Wells. Albert traveled the world doing construction management jobs and owned his own construction management company for a while. He was a very hard worker and never met a stranger. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division Special Combat Unit in Germany during the Vietnam War Era. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Freemason. Albert loved wood working and making beautiful custom pieces of furniture. He owned a muscle car which he was very proud of. He enjoyed Friday night fish dinners with his brother and nieces and loved playing golf with his nephew. He is survived by his brothers; Jim Everette and Jerome Wells (wife Sandra), his nieces Megan Everette (fiancé Ben Prickel) and Abby Everette, nephew Jason Everette (wife Valorie), and his great niece Demi Everette. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, 2018 at Hippensteel Funeral Home at 2pm. Celebrant Amanda Atkins will officiate.
