Verlon Marie Lindsey, age 89, of Holland, Texas passed peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born to parents Luster and Agnes (Abercrombie) Meredith on January 11, 1935, in the city of Commerce, Texas. She went to school in Commerce and was a faithful member of the Lawler Baptist Church. Verlon was an active community member in Lawler. She met Raymond Lindsey and they were married in May of 1964.
