Sylvia Ann Meschewitz Jurica, of Brenham, TX, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was 73. Sylvia, affectionately known during her years as Cookie and later as Grandma, was a native Texan, born on September 3, 1951 to Edward and Annie Houdek Meschewitz. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s in Brenham. Sylvia was united in marriage to George Joe Jurica, Jr. on November 11, 1972 at St. Mary’s in Brenham. George and Sylvia made Brenham their home in 1977…
