Madge (Hughey) Smith, age 84 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Rhea Medical Center. She was born in Waverly, TN, on February 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Roy S. Hughey and Hettie (Knight) Hughey. She was also preceded in death by her four siblings, Verdell Hughey, Farris Maynor, Dimple Clifton, and Roy Faxon Hughey. Madge lived in Dayton most of her life.
