Joel “Wade”‘s Obituary Joel Wade Ivie, formerly of Amarillo, passed away at his home on September 7, 2024. He was born on August 11, 1968 in Anadarko, OK to Alton “Butch” Ivie and Karan Morgan Ivie. Wade graduated from Amarillo High School. He worked with his family at Ivie Painting Service for several years, was an assistant manager for Kelly Moore Paints in Lubbock, then a manager at their Amarillo location.
