Obituary Jeffery Wayne Long was born on December 25, 1956, in Decatur, Texas, to Doyle Wayne and Ema Lu Williams Long. He died September 26, 2024, in Justin, Texas, after a long illness. Jeff lived most of his life in Ponder and graduated from Ponder High School in 1975. He then attended Ryder Technical School graduating with certifications as a diesel mechanic.
