George P. Althouse, 81, of Leola, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital following a two week illness. He was married 61 years to Thea Arlene Means Althouse. Born in Gap, he was the son of the late Ross A. and Anna Chambers Althouse. George retired from CNH after 30 plus years of employment. In retirement he had owned and operated the Old Candle Shed in Leola, for many years. He enjoyed yard work, hunting, fishing, building floats for the baby parade and helping fami…
