Frans’ Obituary MSGT Frans “BJ” Willy Bjorklund USAF Retired, of Castroville passed away September 11, 2024 at the age of 92. He was born June 2, 1932 in Stockholm, Sweden to Manne Bjorklund and Vivian Svenson Bjorklund. BJ grew up in Sweden and graduated in 1948 from Solma High School in Ulriksdal, Sweden. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951. In 1973, BJ retired as a MSGT after serving for over twenty-two years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Bjorklund of Castroville; children, …
