Obituary Peacefully, Billie Ricks, 87, completed her earthly journey on August 6, 2024 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She resided at Heritage Place Assisted Living in Fredericksburg for the last 18 months after moving from Brady where she’d lived since 1970. She was born Billie Fae Wanda Hagedorn on September 24, 1936 at home in Niederwald, Texas. She was the only child of Elva Emilie Hagedorn (nee Rose) and Albert Georg Hagedorn, both German Texans.
