Henry “Carrol” Robinson, 80 of Laurel, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born to Henry and Minnie Robinson on August 13, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Minnie Robinson; his sister, Deloris Pitts; and his son, Dwayne Robinson.
He is survived by his children, Larry (Bridget) Robinson of Louisiana, Theresa (Ken) Ishee of Ellisville, MS, Sybil (Stephen) Sprouse of Stringer, MS, Clark (Becky) Robinson of Laurel, and Missy (Will) Sims of Laurel. He is also survived by his brother, Fred Harrol (Diane) Robinson of New Hebron; sisters, Sybil Haden of Petal, Arlene (Jimmy) Temple of Ellisville, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Carrol opened Robinson Auto Sales in 1991, and ran his business to his final days. He loved his car lot. He enjoyed all his customers and enjoyed making others happy.
He loved his family, cars, and all his animals. A special love for his dog, Guicci, and his housecat, Sissy Cat. He never met a stranger. He was always silly and sassy with a great smile. The family is grateful for all his wonderful friends over the years. He cherished all his friendships.
The services will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. David Williams will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Sprouse, Colin Robinson, Ethen Robinson, John Marshal Ishee, Jeremy Stevens, Thomas Pitts, Tim Sims, and William Sims.
