Melanie Anne (Noel) Dodge, 60 of Martinsville, died on Friday, December 1st, 2023, at 8:05 AM at The Waters of Indianapolis. She was one of two children born to the late Kenneth William and Vanita Renee (King) Noel. Melanie was born on Tuesday, April 9th, 1963.
Melanie had lived most of her life in Martinsville and graduated with the class of 1981 from Martinsville High School. She had been employed by the Department of Natural Resources and most recently she was a customer service representative for Kohl’s.
She is survived by her niece, Alisha Burriss of Ludowici, GA, and nephew, Derek Noel of Indiana.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Noel on August 6th, 2009, and niece, Krystal LaDawn Noel on February 4th, 2008.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM at Eastview Christian Church, 2745 Old Morgantown Road, Martinsville, IN. In honoring Melanie’s wishes, she will be cremated, and her earthly remains will be laid to rest with her parents in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
