Mary E. Smith, 76 passed away on Thursday January 19, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. She was born July 9,1946 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dillenburg) Chudzinski. Resident of the Dunkirk/Fredonia area most of her life, she enjoyed long car rides, and attending classic car shows with her husband David, and most of all, enjoyed holidays and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters Julie Kaus and Kimberly (Steve) Kosierb, granddaughters Elizabeth Kaus (Dylan Phinney), and Alexis Kosierb, and great-grandchildren Lilyanna Kaus and Silas Phinney, and brother John (Lois) Chudzinski and brother-in-law Dave Dalrymple. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law Dolores, her grandson Nathan, and her husband David in August 2022. Services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
