Obituary Judith Rose Fugate, 60 years young, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. On March 19, 1962, Judith was born to Lorraine Bierdz and the late Harlen Faford. Judy was united in marriage to John “Joe” Fugate on February 16, 2018 after a long commitment since March of 1998. After becoming an author of her cancer journey in a book titled “Memoirs of A Life Shattered – Living with and through a Pancoast Tumor” her spare time consisted of shooting as an NRA marksman level five. She also enjoyed bowling, playing pool, playing sudoku, solitaire, rummy, reading David Baldacci books, and she loved her dogs, Max and Sid. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother and husband, daughter, Crystal Tortosa of Florida; sons, Clinton Dwyer of Tennessee, and Jonathan Dwyer of Illinois; sister, Arlene Michl of Tennessee; and grandchildren, Chase, Tessa, Gavin, and Jaxen.
