TILLERY, Mr. George B. Sr. “Pontiac Pop 2” – age 80, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at his residence. Family Hour 10:30 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023 from the Chapel of the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with Funeral Service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Pastor William J. Parker, Officiating. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble at funeral home 10:30 AM Saturday. Mr. Tillery, Sr. will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed from Noon – 6:00 PM Friday. Mr. Tillery, Sr. leaves to cherish his children, George Tillery, Jr., Rochelle (Steve) Brady, Darryl Tillery, Darnell (Yolanda) Tillery and Ranell (Tannette) Tillery; significant other, Arlene Shelton; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-four, great-grandchildren a host of siblings and other numerous relatives and friends. Mr. Tillery, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents and a host of siblings.
