July 9 1932 November 23 2022
Xiuchen Cai passed on November 23, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family. She touched many lives in her 90 years on this earth. To know her was to know the true embodiment of strength and perseverance. She left family, friends, and the life she knew to pursue the American dream with the love of her life, Wenqui Zheng. Together they built a life and legacy that many can only dream of and so few are able to obtain. Even after the untimely death of Wenqui, Xiuchen continued to be the pilar of strength for her family. In her 90 years she not only raised but also helped to raise 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. While she may no longer be here with us, her legacy will continue to flourish and live on as a reflection in each of their lives. If you wish to pay respects to Xiuchen and her family please join us on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 9am to 11am with a prayer service at 11am at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT. Her burial will follow to Woodland Cemetery in Stamford, CT. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider making a donation in Xiuchen’s memory to Murphy’s Paw Rescue; a non-profit, foster based organization located in Connecticut that her grandson, David, and granddaughter, Marilyn, are both actively involved in. If you wish to make an online remembrance for the family online, you may sign the family guestbook at www.bosakfuneralhome.com or www.facebook.com/bosakfuneralhome.
