Age 62, of Es, IL, formerly of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Citadel Care Center in Kankakee, IL. He was born September 17, 1960 in Gary, IN. Steve was raised and educated in Lockport, IL attending Lockport Township High School. He was a truck driver by trade and lived the simple life, enjoying his time at home with his companion, Barbara. Surviving are his parents, Bill and Judith Dennis of Joliet; longtime companion, Barbara Anderson of Es and her children, Michael, Steven, and Andrew Hobbs; two sons; one daughter; brothers, Greg (Tricia) Dennis and Chuck (Roberta) Dennis; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Cremation rites will be accorded, there will be no services at this time. R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements.
