Obituary Mortimer Funeral Home 711 Highway 82 East Greenville, MS 38701 (662) 334-4519 Fax (662) 332-1414 William Houston “Buddy” Hughes III, 46, of Chatham, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his residence. Buddy was born July 21st, 1976 in Illinois. He was an accomplished musician, with “Perfect Pitch”. He attended Riverside High School, Mississippi Delta Community College, and the University of Southern Mississsippi. He is survived by his father, William Houston “Bill” Hughes II of Harrison, AR; mother, Connie Marie Percival of North Carolina; three children, Brantley Reed Hughes of Greenville, Aubrie Hughes Carpenter of Brandon, and Ava Grace Hughes of Brandon; one grandchild, Mikel Ace Hughes; one sister, Kendrea Marie “Shawn” Dain of North Carolina; and one brother, Brian Percival Hughes.
