William Frederick Johnson February 13, 1940 – December 22, 2022 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Born & raised in Freeport IL William (Billy) is Preceded in death by his Parents Charles & Katherine Johnson and siblings Delbert Johnson, Katherine Ashely, Charles Johnson, Carole McFarland and Most recently on December 17th 2022 his brother Mujahid Abdul-Aziz. His son Anthony (Clark) Johnson, his wife Fay Ann LaCour Johnson. He is survived by his His wife Dorothy Johnson, daughter & son-in law Keren & Maurice Turner & Grand Children Maurice & William Turner, Bryan & Jessica Kehl, His brother Jerry (Rae) Johnson, Sister Brenda(Larry)Brown Great Grandchildren, Izzy, Jayda, Cruz & Jersey. His Stepdaughters and their families Stephanie & Jeff Addicks, Grand children Emma & Bear Wagner & Baby Juniper, Katie & Brady. Jennifer & Todd Witcraft, Grandchildren John and Claire. And Many nieces & nephews and family friends. An air force veteran, Bill met Fay while stationed at Barksdale Airforce Base in Louisiana. They Were married in 1960 and moved to Freeport where their son Clark was born. In 1963 they moved and settled in St Paul MN where Keren was born would remain there after his siblings and parents followed. Once in St Paul Bill began his sales career with Brown’s Office Machines but quickly moved on to open his own business Office Machines Sales & Service. His business and outgoing personality allowed him to gain longtime friendships, golf & card playing buddies. Shortly after Fay’s death in 1999 Bill met Dotty and they were married in 2008. He will be remembered as a generous loving husband, father & papa, uncle and friend to many. My Dearest Billy,
I can’t imagine this world without you. You will always be in my heart and memories. You came into my life at such a vital time and you made a tremendous impact on my kids, Axel & Bianca. I will miss your stories & boasting of “Little Billy”, Izzy, Emma and the entire family! You made me laugh and cry with those stories and our conversations taught me so much about life. I miss you deeply my friend. We will meet again some day in heaven.
