Obituary Please share a memory of Wayne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Wayne Cornelious Feaster, 97 of Newkirk, OK died Monday October 10, 2022. Private family services will be held in Fresno, CA at a later date. Wayne was born August 27, 1925 to Earl and Elsie (McCollough) Feaster in Hurley, MO. He graduated from Commerce, OK High School in 1943. Wayne joined the United States Navy right out of High School. Wayne served during World War II as a See Bee. He received various medals including the Victory, Good Conduct and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medals. On February 16, 1946 he married Lou Etta Sikes in Commerce, OK and the couple made their home in Fresno, CA. Wayne was a printer for the Fresno Bee Newspaper until he retired. The couple moved to Miami, Oklahoma and later to Newkirk, OK in 2011.Wayne enjoyed wood working, fishing, gardening, painting and most of all his family. He is survived by his son, John Feaster D.D.S. and wife, Valarie; daughter Linda Federico and husband Sam all of Fresno, CA; daughter Kathy Williams and husband Stephen of Newkirk, OK five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister in-law Louise Williams.
