Obituary Please share a memory of Warren to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Warren Eugene Bosworth, 92 of Desoto, TX passed away on December 24, 2022. Warren was born in Florence, Alabama on December 23, 1930 to Mildred Elizabeth Bosworth and John Edward Bosworth. He served as Drill Seargent in the United States Marine Corps for four years and fought during the Korean War and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism which was his passion. Warren worked as City Editor with the Dallas Times Herald and eventually would become Assistant in the 1970s to who was then Dallas District Attorney, Henry Wade. He would later retire from the Dallas County Courthouse after 20 years in 1995. Warren loved his family and loved all of his pets growing up and in adult years. Warren is survived by his wife, Linda (Railey) Bosworth of Desoto, TX and daughter, Christy Bosworth of Arlington, TX. Warren was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert “Bob” Bosworth of Nashville, TN and numerous aunts and uncles. We want to thank the staff at Methodist Transitional Care and Bristol Hospice for the care and compassion they provided Warren during his final months. Private services will be held at a later date.
