Obituary Please share a memory of Walter to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Walter Jerry Radford, 74, of Danville, VA passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Walter was born in Henrietta, S.C. to the late Walter Jerry Radford, Sr and the late Vernie Maude Paul Radford. Walter worked for 18 years at Danville Memorial Hospital and later he retired from Dick’s Sporting Goods. He loved spending his spare time bass fishing. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Parham Radford; daughter, Teresa Hedrick (Tracy); sons, Michael Burton (Renee) and Jeff Burton (Jennifer); and eleven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Anita Bolt. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2022, at Highland Burial Park with Pastor Richard Motley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave. Danville is serving the family.
