Obituary Wallace Zulick, 94, of Butler, passed away, Monday afternoon, August 1, 2022, in the comfort of his home. He was born January 16, 1928 in Elkhorn, WV, a son of the late Steve Zulick and Mary (Yakubik) Zulick. He was graduate of Butler High School and the University of Maryland. He had worked for the Social Security Administration for 20 years, retiring in 1979. Wallace was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler, had enjoyed gardening and was proud of what he grew. He loved spending time with his grandkids and had volunteered a lot of time to his community and Church. A veteran, he served with the Merchant Marines and the United States Navy during World War II and then with the United States Air Force after the Korean War. Surviving is his wife, June (Rubel) Zulick, whom he married June 20, 1964 at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. His son, Ron (JoAnn) Zulick of Butler. His daughter, Cyndi Zulick-Ford (Alan Ford) of Geneseo, NY. 3 granddaughters: Liza Zulick of Pittsburgh, PA; Holly Zulick of New York City, NY and April Ford of Geneseo, NY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Steven, Nick and Daniel Zulick and his sister, Anna Zulick. Private Services and burial will be held for his family.
