Obituary Virginia G. (Point) Piontkowski., age 90. passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022 after a long illness. Virginia had very interesting jobs, managed to get her BS and MBA degrees in accounting from Roosevelt University. She lived life to the fullest. She loved collecting things, gambling and most of all she loved fishing. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Anna (nee Drexel) Piontkowski, her brother Francis (Mary) Point, her sisters Sr. Anna Marie, PHJC, Therese (Hank) Malinowski, and Genevieve Piontkowski, and three of her nephews. Survivors include her lifetime partner of 52 years., Lois MacAdam, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia will be remembered by many friends she made while residing in Niles and being a member of the Catholic Women’s Club at St. John Brebeuf Parish and a member of the Niles Senior Center. Visitation will take place at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles on Sunday August 7, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Funeral Monday August 8, 2022 10:15 A.M. to St. John Brebeuf Ministry Center at 8305 N. Harlem Avenue for mass of christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
