Victor’s Obituary Victor Gordon Worst, 79, of Ledyard died Thursday November 3, 2022, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. Victor was born November 8, 1942, in Carey, Ohio to Ada Monroe Worst and Edna Stapley Worst. He married Donna Shaughnessy Worst, she survives him. Victor served in the US Navy and worked in the diving industry. Besides his wife Donna, he is survived by; Sons: Howard Worst and Nicholas Worst; Daughters: Cynthia Burton and Jessica Worst; Brother: Jerry Worst; Sisters: Arbutis Greene and Pauline Baldridge. 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by brother Monroe Worst and sister Faye House. Visitation will be 3:00pm to 5:30pm Sunday November 13, 2022, at Byles Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street in Groton. Funeral Services are scheduled 10:00am Monday November 14, 2022, at the Byles Groton Memorial Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic.
