Tony’s Obituary Tony Ray Zornes, 59, of Louisa, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa. The Ironton native was born October 15th, 1963, the son of Ray and Nancy Jayne Zornes of Kitts Hill, Ohio. He is also survived by his wife, Susie Fortner Zornes, whom he married October 15th, 2010. Tony was a 1982 graduate of Rock Hill High School and member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Dow Chemical and machine operator for Liebert Corporation in Ironton. Tony loved being outdoors and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing basketball, softball & golf and his favorite teams were the Ohio State Buckeyes, Duke Blue Devils and the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by: two daughters: Ashley Nicole (Mark) Depriest of Kitts Hill and Alexis Kerns of Grove City, Ohio a son: Zachary Keith (Elisha) Zornes of Waterloo, Ohio a step-daughter: Tera Dawn (Matt) Collinsworth of Louisa, Kentucky a step-son: William Muncy of Huntington, West Virginia 5 grandchildren: Christian Ray Depriest, Camden Depriest, McKenna Depriest, Marlee Zornes and Finley Zornes 7 step-grandchildren 1 sister: Brooke Zornes Lutz of Kitts Hill 3 brothers: Scott Zornes of Kitts Hill, Brian (Cindy) Zornes of Ironton and Brock (Katie) Zornes of Pedro He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family members and friends that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents: Charles and Alta Jayne and paternal grandparents: Orville and Edith Zornes Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Matt Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
