Obituary of Thomas A. Bowman Knox – Thomas A. Bowman, Sr., age 81, of Knox died Monday, January 10, 2022 at his home. Born in Elmira, NY, Thomas lived in Colonie, NY before moving to Knox, NY in 1989. He was employed as a pipefitter, plumber and HVAC at General Electric in Schenectady, NY for 44 years, retiring in 2009. Thomas was a Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed reading the daily newspaper. He was the husband of Kathleen Bergstrom Bowman; father of Susan Bowman, Timothy Bowman, Peg David (Jose), Thomas Bowman Jr. and Julie Jackson (Donald); and brother of Carolyn VanDenburgh Oakley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville, on Friday from 3 – 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. Burial will be in the spring in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Salem. For those who wish, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to the Schenectady Pilgrim Holiness Church, 2105 Curry Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303.
