Paul Cornell, 74, of Fraziers Bottom, WV passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at home. He was born November 6, 1948, in Huntington, WV a son of the late Clifford Cornell and Lydia Ann (Siders) Cornell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy Paul Adams; three sisters, Phyllis Friend, Ada Chandler and Lydia Arthur; and three brothers, Charles, Edward and Danny Cornell. Paul was a soldier in the Salvation Army and he retired from the Corp. of Engineers as a Locks and Dam Operator. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Rae (Duman) Cornell of Fraziers Bottom; three children, Paul Alan (Tina) Cornell of Nyack, NY, Lydia Ann Cornell of Fraziers Bottom and Jeanne Marie (Charles) Cline of Harvest, AL; four grandchildren, Paul Alan Cornell, Marla Setliff, Rebecca Cline and Kaylee Cline; one sister, Betty Drew of Cleveland, OH; four brothers, Warren (Virginia) Cornell of Dunbar, WV, Leonard (Vivian) Cornell of Huntington, WV, Jerry (Debbie) Cornell of Apple Grove, WV and Mike (Nancy) Cornell of Apple Grove, WV. There will be no public services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
