Mr. Thomas J. Hickey Eldred, NY Mr. Thomas J. Hickey of Eldred, NY, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his home with his family near. He was 65. He was born March 23, 1957 in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Joseph Patrick and the late Rosemary Harrison Hickey. Tom proudly served our country in the United States Navy, serving on two ships, the USS Kirk and the USS Hector AR7. Tom was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and spent most of his life there. He then went on to have a career as a Stationary Fireman at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to ride his Harley FLH Shovel Head and rode a Road King, which he passed down to his son. Surviving are: His two beloved children, Emma Hickey Spohn and her husband Jason of Mercer Island, Washington and Neil Thomas Hickey of Clarkstown, NY. His loving grandchildren, Ellouise and Zoe Spohn, Three siblings, Mary Lou Donnelly and her husband Patrick of Glen Spey, Patricia Hickey of Bronx, NY and Colleen Hickey of Bronx, NY; His great friends who were like family, Kevin and Eileen Geoghegan of Mahopac, NY and Robert and Sheila Allan of Yorktown Heights, NY Also many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 with a 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Church, 25 Beaverbrook Road, Yulan, NY 12792 with Rev. Richard Bretone officiating. Burial will be at Montoza Cemetery, Eldred, NY. Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
