Thomas Caracappa, 91 of Huguenot passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Home surrounded by his loving family Born Sunday, December 28, 1930 in Brooklyn, United States, he was the son of the late Anthony Caracappa and the late Grace Rumpasardi Caracappa. Tom, as he was affectionately known by friends and family was a dedicated husband father, grandfather and friend. Tom and his beloved wife the late Mindy were long time members of the Golden Oldies Bowling League. He and Mindy lived for Cruises and Vacations. They never missed a weekend out having dinner together and enjoying the Movies, anything the could do together was most important to him. Tom was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Ermelinda ”Mindy” Caracappa. Loving father of Thomas Caracappa, Mark Caracappa and Christopher Caracappa. Dear father in law of Doreen and Cathy Caracappa. Cherished grandmother of Mark Thomas, Maria Elena, and Jessica Claire.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:00 PM on Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
