Terry Lynn Shoff, age 55, of York, died peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Born in York on September 28, 1967, he was the son of the late Samuel Wesley and Audrey Marie (Meyers) Shoff. Terry was the loving husband and best friend of 31 years of Leanne (Sweigart) Shoff. Terry was a mechanic and tow truck driver for Den’s Service Center in East Prospect. He was an avid hunter and loved to go to the family camp “Bear Hope” in the Endless Mountains of Clinton County. He loved to watch NASCAR, and always cheered on the Earnhardts #3 and #8. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings and Penn State. He loved to watch his children’s bowling, both as competitors and coaches. Above all, Terry was a family man, and loved to spend all his time with them. In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his children Zachary S. Shoff, Lukas R. Shoff, and Chyanne E. Shoff all at home, his brother Toby Lee Shoff, and his wife Kathryn of York, and his nieces Jordan A. Shoff and Kayli G. Shoff of Wrightsville, and nephew Shane M. Houck and his wife Nicole and great-nephew Parker of York. A funeral service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing for Terry on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terry’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
