Obituary Suzanne Detz, 61, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Emerald Rehab and Healthcare Center, Elizabethtown, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Thursday, April 13, 1961 in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Quinn and Sandra (Nagel) Detz. Sue was retired from Grinnell Corp., now Anvil International in Columbia after 30 years. She was a member of American Legion Post #197, Bainbridge. Sue enjoyed Bingo, Poker, Nascar, and anything Harley-Davidson. She was an avid Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys fan. What she loved most was spending time with her family. Sue is survived by a son Stephen M. Detz and wife Teresa of Lititz; two sisters: Pam Tesch and husband Bruce of Elizabethtown, and Barb Detz of Mechanicsburg; a brother Thomas Detz and wife Tammy of Mount Joy; two granddaughters: Haley and Chloe; also Bob Detz of Elizabethtown and a large extended family. Service and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue’s memory made be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
