Stephanie L. Jones, 75 of York, died on September 17, 2022 at York Hospital. Born in York, PA she was the daughter of the late Richard D. Shellenberger and the late Lovena A. (Andes) Shellenberger -Varner. She was a door monitor for McKinley School in York, where she enjoyed the children until she retired. Stephanie was a member of the Unity Church of God and Christ where she joyously worshipped the lord and sang on the church choir. She is survived by daughter Robin L. Saxon of Riverdale, GA; two grandchildren Jasmine N. Saxon and Rashad L. Saxon; and two great grandchildren Nyah S. Saxon and Kara M Saxon. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery afterward.
