Ralph “Stan” Light, 85, of Annville died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. He was the husband of Mildred H. (Gingrich) Light for over 60 years. Born in Annville on September 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Ralph H. and Emily (Sholley) Light. Stan worked as an RV Salesman. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Palm Lutheran Church in Palmyra. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and watching soccer. Stan was also a member of the Kiwanis Club. Surviving are 2 sons, Michael S. Light of Columbus, OH, Steven A. Light, husband of Kelli of Hummelstown; a daughter, Suzanne M. Miller, wife of Thomas of Palmyra; 2 brothers, Carl Light, husband of Jackie of Palmyra, Richard Light, husband of Patricia of Texas; 2 sisters, Doris Gerber of Annville, Marilyn Boeshore, wife of Donald of Annville; 4 grandchildren, Thomas, Megan, Tyler, and Madison. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, January 18 at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the Funeral Home. Inurnment with military honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St. Palmyra, PA 17078, or to Camp Swatara Family Camp, 2905 Camp Swatara Rd. Bethel, PA 19507 in his memory.
