She was born October 21, 1945, in Washington D.C. to the late Gordon Keith Ross and the late Wilma Trent Ross. Sheila was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 647 in Danville, VA. She retired from C.I.T after over thirty years of service. Sheila will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Phillips and her husband Kevin; grandchildren, Haley Nicole Belton, Kyra Ray Phillips, and Emma Maureen Phillips; brother, Jimmy K. Ross; sister, Diane R. Steele; niece, Melissa S. Bolinsky and her husband Rick; and nephew, Robert Steele and his wife Lindsay. There are no services planned at this time.
