Sally Twila Bailey Cox, 64, went to be with the Lord on Thursday afternoon, November 26th, 2022, at St. Francis-Downtown. Born in Rogersville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Milford Junior and Lillian Grace Young Bailey. She was a homemaker and was a faithful member at Cathedral of Faith. She is survived by her husband and sole caregiver of 38 years: John Thomas Cox, Sr.; her special son: John Thomas Cox, Jr.; a sister: Cathy Blackwell (Bo); a brother: Tommy Bailey (Teresa); and many several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister: Susan Bailey. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, December 1st, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will be held on Thursday afternoon, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Family will be at the home. A special thanks to Kindred Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Cox during her time of illness and to Melinda Barnett for the many of meals she prepared for the family.
