Rodney Lambertson, 45, of Greenbackville, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born on July 9, 1977, in Maryland. He was the son of the late Gary D Lambertson and Terri Lynn Lambertson. Rodney is survived by two sons, Trever D Lambertson and Devin A Lambertson; Two Brothers, Gary D Lambertson, Jr and Chad (Melissa) R Lambertson; Sister, Michele L Lambertson; Former Wife, Megan T Lambertson; Three Nieces, Kimberly L Bradford, Mallory D Lambertson and Nevaeh R Lambertson; Nephew, Chase R Lambertson; Great Niece, Victoria L Topping and Great Nephew, Aiden D Topping; Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he held very near to his heart. Rodney was raised in Stockton, MD where he started riding/driving anything with 2, 3, or 4 wheels not long after learning to walk. He may have kept Paige & Bob’s business alive by filling up his and all his friends’ dirt bikes with gas there on his Dad’s account. He grew up with a passion for hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. But only the brave rode horses with him. Thanks to the family business, he was one of the best around with a bobcat and often said that manual labor was for people that didn’t have one. Rodney never met a stranger, was a friend and brother to many, but no one held a bigger place in his heart than his boys. He loved being a father more than anything in the world and considered them his biggest achievement. One of his many proud moments as their dad was watching them learn to wheelie, as long as they had both hands on the handlebars for safety. He was wild and spirited, but he was his mom’s heart, his sons’ rough and tough, and a rock to many others. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Greenbackville Fire house with Pastor Donnie Bailey as the officiate.
