Loving father of Trisha VanRiper, Robert VanRiper, Jr. and his wife Sharon, Steven Van Riper and his wife Michele, Daisy Porto and her husband Chris, and Jonathan VanRiper and his wife Kaitlyn. Also survived by ten grandchildren. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in Paterson. He was a maintenance supervisor for The Jewish Community Center of Tenafly for many years before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM.
