Robert Lee “Rob” Blevins, 41, of Chilhowie, VA passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Washington County, VA on December 1, 1980, a son of the late Marcella Gregory Blevins and is survived by his father, Charles Blevins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harvey and Martha Blevins; and his maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Lottie Gregory. He had lived a few years in Tazewell, TN before moving back to Washington County, VA. He had worked at various McDonalds in the area, was assistant manager at the Dollar General Store in Marion before working at Love’s Truck Stop in Meadowview, VA. He enjoyed listening to music, historical places, and old antique clocks. In addition to his father, Rob is survived by a brother, Tim Blevins; an uncle, Howard Blevins and his wife, Judy; an aunt, Patty Taylor and her husband, Thomas; and several cousins. A memorial gathering of friends to spend time together and share stories of Rob’s life will take place from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Garrett Funeral Home.
