Robert Charles Brooks passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was born in New Orleans, LA on November 19, 1955 to Margaret Mary Lytell Brooks and Charles Preston Brooks. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Mendow Brooks; his children, Ryan VanderBos, Ashley Revere and Curtis Gibson; his grandchildren Keenan VanderBos, Karter VanderBos, Kendall VanderBos and Piper Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret Mary Lytell Brooks and Charles Preston Brooks. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Madisonville, LA. In lieu of flowers kindly consider, memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Brooks may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, 1-800-805-5856; www.stjude.org/. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Robert’s life at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM with a gathering on Monday beginning at 11:00 AM.
