View Tribute Book Glenmont- Rikki Guy Adair, 37, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 16th 2022 due to a medical event. Rikki is survived by his loving wife Vanessa (Perkins), his daughter, Quinn Carol, his son, Vance Toivo; his parents Anne-Kaarina and Timothy G. Adair; sister, Anna-Kaarina (Kevin) Stewart; brothers, Toby (Tedi) Adair, and Kaarlo (Christina) Adair; mother and father-in-law, JoAnn and Greg Perkins; brother-in-law, Jason (Katherine) Perkins; nieces, Emma, Ann-Elise, Maija, and Autumn; and nephews, Jaakob and Hunter. Rikki will be greatly missed by his special Aunt Colleen Adair and Uncle Kari Maunu. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. Rikki was a 2003 graduate of Columbia High School and 2007 graduate from SUNY Cortland. He worked for Mid-State Industries with many beloved coworkers. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed watching sports, gardening, birdwatching, skiing, and working around his house. Rikki’s biggest joy was his family. He was an amazing husband, father, son, and brother. He loved playing with his nephews and nieces, family vacations in Ocean City, camping on the Battenkill River, gatherings at Halls Lake, and of course playing kickball with his many friends. Anywhere Rikki went, he made a lasting impression on everyone. He was a fun loving person and always saw the positive in all situations. He would want his friends and family to remember the good times, and continue making more memories in his honor. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 21, from 10am – 12noon, followed by a service at 12PM in the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY. The burial will then be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Remembrance of Rikki Adair on GoFundMe.
