Celebrating the Life of Rev Calvin W. Jackson Reverend Calvin W. Jackson was born on November 8, 1937, In the City of Americus Georgia. He was the fourth born to the union of the late Robert and Susie Mae Jackson. Calvin was preceded by his devoted wife Lucindy Norris Jackson of 58 years. Sister Vera Mae Youmans, brothers Eddie, and Robert Jackson Jr, his daughter Karen Jackson and one Grandson Jeremy Jackson. He later married Regna Jackson. Rev. Jackson received his education in Americus Georgia. The family moved to Daytona Beach and eventually moved to Deerfield Beach, and he began anew. He continued education at Broward community college and Atlantic Vocational technical school. Rev. Jackson accepted Christ in his early years. He served as a deacon at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church under pastoral-ship of Reverend F. D. Kitchen. He received Gospel Ministry licenses June 27, 1976, from Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W.J. Ford. He received his Certificate of Ordination on July 17, 1980, from First Zion Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Pastor C. L. Lambert. He was selected as the Pastor and approved by members of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He Retired in 2022. His work history began as a boy working on the farm with his father, mother, and siblings. As he grew into manhood his work experience included Construction, Law enforcement, Carpentry, and tiling. With all the experience he built his family Home. He worked at FAU and Gory Tile for over 30 years simultaneously where he retired. He leaves to celebrate and continue his legacy: Son’s Tyrone Jackson (Kay) and Christopher Jackson, Daughter’s Brenda Fulmore (Pastor Dennis Fulmore) Shannon Powell (Thomas) Gina Holmes, Dorian Hutchins (Norman),Sharon William (Kevin). Grandchildren Theophilus, Brittany, Terrence, Karen, Jennifer, Sebastian, Ryan, Jason, Shakira, Christopher Jr., Justin, Jacolby, Thomas Jr. 17 Great Grand Children, 4 Great- great-grand Children and 3 God daughters. 3 siblings Willie Clarence Jackson (Barbara), Berth Gibson, Juanita Madison (Rev. Lonnie Madison). Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends.
