September 26 1944 November 28 2022
Rellah June (Hale) Turpin, 78, of Evansville, IN passed away peacefully in her home the morning of Monday November 28, 2022. She was born in Cannelton, Indiana in 1944 to the late Glover and Margaret Hale. She was raised in nearby Tell City as one of twelve Hale children. She worked in the office of Hutch and Sons Electronics for over 40 years rarely missing a day of work. Retiring just four weeks prior to passing. Her work ethic was very important to her to pass down to her children. She loved hearing about what her grandsons were up to and passing along to anyone she could tell. She loved going to auctions and rummage sales with her sister Charlotte and her niece Judy. If you wanted the deal, you best pick it up before you show it to her. She enjoyed slot machines and knew when you needed to move along to the next one. She was always looking for and trying new recipes. She is survived by her two children and their families; daughter, Kelly J Baker; her husband Robert and their two sons, Robert Baker Jr. and Travis Baker of Cypress TX; a son, Mark A. Wulff; his wife Myra (Walker) and her son, Tyler Hurm of Wadesville IN; brothers, Walter Hale, Bobby (Dalcy) Hale, David (Shannon) Hale; close friend and niece, Judy Borst, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rellah was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis, and Clinton Hale and five sisters, Billie Jean Murray, Irene Hale, Edwina Pease, Charlotte Riddle, Marcia Criss and Martine Holloman. According to Rellah’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services held. Condolences may be made online at www.pierrefuneralhome.com.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rellah June Turpin September 26 1944 November 28 2022.
