Obituary Raymond S. Yovanovich, 88, of Butler passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born April 2, 1934 in Butler, he was a son of the late Steve N. and Mary (Senko) Yovanovich. Raymond Retired from the United States Airforce as a Lieutenant Colonel following his military career. He was a former Commander for the Michael Kozar American Legion. He enjoyed performing Karate as well as teaching self-defense. He also enjoyed the Institute of Learning in Retirement at Slippery Rock University. Surviving are his many friends who loved him very much as well as his family in Croatia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma A. Yovanovich who passed away September 12, 2006. His son, Steve Yovanovich. His parents, a sister, Vi and a brother, Stephen. Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Saturday. A Blessing Service will follow at 12:00 pm Saturday at the Funeral Home.
